What can I say about Albright IP? They state 'Excellence in Intellectual Property' and that is exactly the service I received. I was really worried about the patent application for my new product and the team at Albright swept in and saved the day in a swift and professional manner, making me feel completely at ease and in safe hands from the outset. I cannot recommend Alright IP enough they are simply a fantastic company!

Do I have to identify the designer?
It is possible to waive the name of the designer when filing a European Community Design, but you should be sure that you have the rights to the design

OHIM Issue Registered Design Certificates Electronically

by | Apr 19, 2013

From Monday 15 November 2010, The Trademark and Design Registration Office of the European Union (otherwise known as ‘OHIM’) will only issue registration certificates for Registered Community Designs electronically. Previously paper certificates were issued.

The move is intended to speed up the registration process and brings the Community Design registration process in line with the Community Trademark registration process, where electronic certificates have been routine for some time.

The electronic certificates will have exactly the same appearance and legal value as the paper certificates.

OHIM will notify users that the certificate is available and users will be able to download or print off a copy of the certificate directly from the OHIM website.
