Adrian graduate from the University of Warwick with a Master’s degree in Advanced Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering. He has studied various modules including Physiological and Compartmental Modelling, Ultrasonic and Biomedical Instrumentation, Biomedical Materials, Systems Modelling and Control, Automation and Robotics, Electrical Machines and Power Systems, and Signal Processing.
His Master’s project was a modelling investigation into heterogeneous cell cycles coupled with a pharmacokinetic model of Topotecan. During his undergraduate final year he worked in a team to create a model of an electric vehicle, working on the electrical system.
Before attending university, Adrian spent a year living and volunteering in Japan. He volunteered at the Red Cross medical Hospital and a local adventure play park in Tokyo.
After graduating Adrian worked at the Intellectual Property Office as a Patent Examiner for 5 years. During this time, he worked on a variety of technical subject matter ranging from containers to computer systems. His primary heading was control system. He also spent time working on patent applications from applicants without professional representation and on various projects including a policy project directed towards IP trading platforms.
He is currently writing a dissertation to complete an LL.M in Intellectual Property Law and has little spare time. When he does, he enjoys watching movies as well as listening to and playing music.
