The firm are delighted to announce that Frederick Noble and Cloe Loo have recently passed the professional examinations to become Chartered British Patent Attorneys. Freddie came top in the country for the legal paper and took the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys’ Strode prize. Cloe also had outstanding marks and would probably have won the prize, if Freddie hadn’t won it! This marks the firm’s commitment to excellence which we endeavour to pass on to our clients.
We are pleased to welcome Marc Maidment, who joins us from Siemens Molecular Imaging and Calum Bradbury, who joins us straight from Birmingham University.
Marc has a Masters Degree in Chemistry from Keble College Oxford and Calum passed out with flying colours obtaining a first class Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Calum also won the Birmingham University Hayes Prize for outstanding assessed work in a field in which computing plays a major part. Both are very welcome additions to our growing patents team.
Marc is the second chemist to join the team, following William Doherty, who not only gained a distinction in his Masters Degree from Jesus College Oxford, but who also represented the College on University Challenge. This should spell danger to anyone inviting Albright to a quiz night… Will also part-qualified in the recent exams and we look forward to his progression towards qualification.
