Albright IP has been celebrating exam success this week following the news that three of our staff have passed board examinations.
Rupert Belsham and Matthew Cyrson have both passed all of their Patent Examination Board foundation examinations, while Marc Maidment passed his final board examination to become a fully qualified UK Patent Attorney.
The exams are administered by the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA). Founded in 1882, CIPA is the professional and examining body for patent attorneys in the United Kingdom.
Robert Games, Managing Director, commented, “We are very proud of the hard work, determination and resulting success of Rupert, Matthew and Marc. It’s great to see the young talent we take on achieve this career success. Marc’s qualification takes our number of qualified Patent Attorneys up to six, with a further two set to become qualified over the coming year. This is an important step towards further expanding both our capability and capacity to ensure our growing list of clients are always working with the top specialists in patent law.”
“We are only as good as our people and we have always strived to attract the best and the brightest to Albright IP. Patent Law is a specialist subject, the hard work and hours of study our staff put in to achieve these UK qualifications are testament to their dedication and desire to be ranked amongst the best in the world.”
Rupert and Matthew will now work towards their Final Diploma examinations to become fully qualified Patent Attorneys, while Marc is awaiting the results of his European Qualifying Examination papers and confirmation of his chartered status.
