What can I say about Albright IP? They state 'Excellence in Intellectual Property' and that is exactly the service I received. I was really worried about the patent application for my new product and the team at Albright swept in and saved the day in a swift and professional manner, making me feel completely at ease and in safe hands from the outset. I cannot recommend Alright IP enough they are simply a fantastic company!

World Intellectual Property Day 2021

World IP Day 2021

World Intellectual Property Day 2021 – This year we’re celebrating IP & SMEs

Every April 26, we celebrate World IP Day to recognise the role that intellectual property rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity.

This year Albright IP and the @WIPO is celebrating the millions of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) that operate across the globe.

These businesses all started with an idea, and we’re celebrating the ingenuity and creativity that lies behind these companies.

Creative minds the world over – architects, artists, artisans, designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists and many others – come up with new ideas every day. From the arts to artificial intelligence, fashion to farming, renewable energy to retail, television to tourism, and virtual reality to videogames, to name just a few.

SMEs are the backbone of the global economy. They account for around 90% of all businesses worldwide and are essential contributors to job creation and economic development.

In times like these, when economic recovery is a priority, World IP Day 2021 shines a light on how SMEs can use their IP assets to build stronger, more competitive, and resilient businesses. IP is a powerful tool for SMEs in all parts of the world to create economic value in the business and help them to advance their business goals.

With IP rights, an idea can be turned into a business opportunity that generates value, creates employment, and enriches the market, offering consumers and other businesses a broader choice of products and services.

To find out how your business can leverage the value in IP please get in touch with us or alternately you might like to read our advice article on the Federation of Small Business – Protecting intellectual property for small businesses
