I recently had the pleasure of working with Joel Weston on what initially... seemed like a minor IPO issue, but it evolved into a comprehensive co-existence agreement with another company. I can’t express enough how much I valued Joel’s expertise, depth of knowledge, and meticulous guidance throughout this process. It was more than just legal advice; for me, it was akin to an enlightening crash course in IP law!read more

Our Trade Marks team has been busy

Our Trade Marks team has been busy….

We are thrilled to announce that the Trade Marks team at Albright have been positioned very highly in a recent survey conducted by the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA), which has ranked the top 100 Trade Mark ‘filing’ practitioners in the country. A very active year has seen Albright rising to 36th in the top 100 of UK Application ‘filers’, and 40th within a very competitive European filing list. It is not just a numbers game, as the team assures that they always combine their expertise with carefully considered, proactive commercial advice.

Aside from running the busy practice, Katie and Julia have attended several conferences this year including the International Trade Mark Association (INTA) meeting in Hong Kong. This was a great opportunity to catch up with associates from many countries, and to establish new working relationships with others. As the photograph shows, the occasion to sample the local culture was not missed, and yes if you are wondering, ‘snake soup’ does taste like chicken!
