Joel Weston

Joel graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 2015 with a First Class Law degree (LLB), and then went on to obtain a Commercial Law Master’s degree (LLM) at the University of Bristol in 2016.
In 2020, Joel successfully completed the Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice at Queen Mary University.
In 2022, Joel achieved a distinction in the Trade Mark Practice Professional Certificate at Nottingham Trent University, and qualified as a UK Trade Mark Attorney in August of the same year.
Prior to joining Albright IP in March 2019, Joel gained a large amount of legal experience as a paralegal at law firms in Bath and Bristol.
Joel is involved in all aspects of Trade Mark prosecution and enforcement and defence, from international filing strategies to oppositions and domain name disputes.
In his spare time, Joel enjoys collecting, playing and repairing guitars, but finds himself increasingly distracted by his new Maine Coon cat, which is getting bigger by the day!
