Was a pleasure to work with Will and Melissa on a patent draft and filing. Will took the time to understand both my software product and the commercial motivations behind the patent filing. They were extremely responsive to questions and clarifications throughout the process (availability isn't everything, but it certainly helps!).
They were also very clear regarding fees, and set out a very helpful visual timeline and cost breakdown on the whole patent application process at the pre-sales stage. This emphasis on making sure I understood all aspects of the work, and having documentation to help with that, is something I didn't see with any of the other patent services I was talking to at the time. This clear communication continued throughout our interactions.

As well as being an Engineer and a creative thinker, Robert is an experienced Chartered British Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney, IP Litigator (Patents), and Trade Mark Attorney. He turned from gamekeeper to poacher after 4 years and trained as a Patent Attorney.
Robert qualified quickly as a Patent Attorney and worked for two of the of the country’s leading patent Attorney firms. He founded Albright IP (formerly Albright Patents) in 2007. He has worked on a broad range of patent and design matters and has experience of handling patent portfolios across many fields within the general engineering sector.
In addition to being Chartered, as with all of Albright IP's attorneys, Robert is a member of and regulated by IPReg, the independent professional regulatory body in the UK for Patent Attorneys and Trade Mark Attorneys.
Robert has also been a member of both the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and the European Patent Institute for many years.
