Absolutely superb outfit - highly competent in their field. I trust them implicitly and would deal with them again over any other IP firm. On a human level - very nice people too.

What can I say about Albright IP? They state 'Excellence in Intellectual Property' and that is exactly the service I received. I was really worried about the patent application for my new product and the team at Albright swept in and saved the day in a swift and professional manner, making me feel completely at ease and in safe hands from the outset. I cannot recommend Alright IP enough they are simply a fantastic company!

Albright IP has been recognised in the Financial Times’ Special Report: Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms 2026, achieving gold rankings in two specialist technology sectors, for the third year in a row.

The Cheltenham firm was ranked Gold for Electrical Engineering & Physics, as well as Gold for Mechanical Engineering; Silver for IT & Software; and Bronze for Materials & Nano Technology.

The annual ranking, compiled by FT research partner Statista, is based on recommendations from clients and peers across the patent profession. Gold status means a firm was very frequently recommended in that sector, while Silver means frequently recommended and Bronze means recommended.

These awards reflect the superb calibre of our science and engineering patents teams, as well as our ability to handle patent preparation and prosecution in the fast emerging area of AI software.

Robert Games, Managing Director of Albright IP, said:

“We’re very pleased to be recognised once again by the Financial Times’ ranking of Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms.

To receive strong rankings across several specialist sectors is a real credit to the technical expertise of our team and reflects the breadth of work we do for clients across a wide range of technologies.

This recognition is especially valued because it is based on recommendations from clients and peers. Thank you to everyone who recommended us, and to our team for the care and commitment they bring to their work every day.”

Albright IP’s inclusion in the 2026 ranking highlights the firm’s continued work helping businesses, inventors and innovators protect their ideas in the UK, Europe and internationally.
