Duku Design can assist you in finding a manufacturing partner for your product, in order to get your product into production. Our designers have excellent relationships with manufactures both in the UK and the Far East, to provide you with a range of options. Not being tied to a single Far East manufacturer provides you with greater flexibility and often can result in greater cost savings over other product design firms.

Our expert team have a proven track record of developing your product for cost effective tooling and production.

Through their production quotation service, Duku Design will prepare a detailed manufacturing specification, approach a number of alternative manufacturers to quote for the project, and then complete a detailed production report, providing you with suggestions of a chosen manufacturer.

Where possible, UK suppliers and manufacturers will be approached and suggested. However, it is often the case that UK companies have to charge substantially more for tooling and production of the units. This often leads to the use of Far East manufacturers when launching a new product on a budget.

It is sometimes advisable to use a sourcing agent when manufacturing in the Far East. This does increase the cost slightly, but will provide you with the peace of mind that you are dealing with a reputable and UK-registered company.  A sourcing agent will take responsibility for ensuring the quality of the product, together with handling the international transfer of funds.
