James graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2017 with a First Class degree in History.
In 2022, James completed the Post Graduate Certificate Intellectual Property at Bournemouth University, achieving a CITMA Awards nomination.
Prior to joining Albright IP, James worked in-house at a global fashion brand where he was responsible for managing global Brand Protection and Trade Mark prosecution matters.
James is involved in various aspects of Trade Mark prosecution and protection, retaining a strong interest in the commercialisation and enforcement of IP.
Outside of work, James enjoys running, paddleboarding and countryside walks with his French bulldog.
